USANA, one of the largest health and nutritional network marketing companies in the world just recently hosted its annual convention for its sales force. More than 8000 distributors showed up to be inspired and learn more about the USANA program.
The company had a number of guest speakers available to speak to the team. The lineup included none other than best selling authors, Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad Poor Dad as well as Paul Zane Pilzer, author of The New Wellness Revolution.
One very interesting speaker in attendance was Mark Shurtleff. He is none other than the current Attorney General for the state of Utah. “Let me tell you this about USANA and about other direct sales organizations. If you do it right, you do it legal it is one of the greatest ways to help people realize the dreams and benefits and advantages of a free market system in the world today. And it is legal and Attorney Generals know this.”
He also talked about the fact that there are a lot of network marketing companies that don’t do it right. He said that when they get an inquiry about USANA they tell that person that USANA has been looked at and they are one of the companies that are doing it right and doing it legal.

While this won’t convince those individuals who are bent on condemning everything associated with the network marketing industry, this is certainly a positive message for USANA distributors.
To have a current sitting Attorney General of your company’s home state come to your convention and speak to your sales force is a huge positive about the legality and the viability of your business opportunity.
One common objection that many distributors get from potential prospects is whether the business opportunity is a pyramid scheme. Typically when you press this question you’ll hear “one of those things where everybody at the top makes all the money and everyone at the bottom loses money.”
As a USANA distributor you can now point to the fact that the sitting Attorney General came to your company’s convention and spoke about how much of a positive force your company is.
