Is 'The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing' by Ann Sieg too Negative?

Is Ann Sieg’s book, ‘The 7 Lies…” too negative?

When I first saw the title I was uncomfortable.

Focusing on the negative side of something that has so many positive attributes seemed counterproductive to me. But I had already read The Renegade ebook before looking at the ‘7 Great Lies’ so I studied on.

If you heard Ann in her interview with me last Thursday, you know that she is a very positive and uplifting person. I’ve worked closely with many leaders. Ann is unique in her ability to empower the person she is talking to in a way I’ve never experienced before.

So what’s up with all the negativity in the 7 Lies ebook?

It’s effective marketing.

What that means is that Ann is purposefully attracting people who are unhappy with their experiences with the networking business, starting from their viewpoint. She knows and understands what they are feeling and so she ‘talks to them’ in her writing.  She also recognizes that there are some serious flaws with the old-school model of network marketing and she has to be bold in order to 'shake' people out of the old paradigm, which is literally sinking the majority of network marketing businesses.

By starting from ‘where they are at’ in their minds, she is reaching out to a large audience of people who have dreams, but who have lost hope in the networking model. These make great prospects for someone who is willing to offer them solutions.

With the new model of networking where you can attract people to you through very specific Internet methods, there is new hope for such people who might need a more concrete and tangible business plan.

There is a movement underway right now that is being headed up by some of the highest paid uplines around... they want to silence Ann Sieg... they are trying to influence the big networking companies to threaten to take away your associate position if you promote Ann Sieg's materials (and other materials that don't praise them) on your blog or web site...
