Ezine Solo Ads and The Renegade Network Marketing System
Today we’ll talk more about Ezine Solo ads, since many of you did so well on your first try with the Top Surfer solo ad. If you want to improve upon your results, ask around the Discussion area and pick up some clues from others who might be willing to share what they did.
Ezine solo ads are a proven great way to generate traffic on the Internet. An ezine solo ad is like a newsletter that is sent out via email to a group of people who want to receive it. There are all kinds of different ezine audiences. They can range from business opportunity seekers to basket weaving, and every hobby or subject of interest in-between.
Although it’s obvious to start with the business opportunity or network marketing type ezines first, there can be rewards when sending out ads for other target markets. For example, if you found an ezine for home makers, you could send out an ezine ad that targeted women (for example) that may be in trying to build an extra income with a network marketing company, but who are struggling with the old way of contacting the warm market.
You could write, “You started a part-time business to make some extra money from home. But you didn’t know you’d have to chase your friends and family in order to do it! Are you ready for an entirely new way to build your business? Find out how you can attract customers and prospects to you.” Of course, that ad copy could use some work but you get the idea.
When you write an ezine ad think very carefully about who you are talking to and talk straight to them. Don’t talk to everybody. Talk to that one target market you have in mind.
If you found an ezine for race cars you could write an ad targeting men who might be fairly good around the Internet, who know about network marketing, but who haven’t heard about the ‘new way’ of doing it on the Internet. Appeal to their interest in living the life of luxury and riches (they are probably into that if they subscribe to a race car ezine). Explain how network marketing the ‘new way’ on the Internet makes it possible for them to now achieve the lifestyle of network marketing.
You get the idea here. Choose a target market. Get into their head (meaning, think about what they think about and write to them).
You may want to start with home based business type ezines for now, but don’t be afraid to target people outside that box. That’s often when you can find really unique opportunity to create faster results.
Once you find a niche of any kind, you then seek out other ways to duplicate what you did in other ezines and where that same target market hangs out. Once you find a magic slot machine combination (example: you spend $1 on advertising and get back $1.50 or more, plus you get leads), then you should focus and duplicate what you did.
It won’t happen over night. But if you pay attention it will happen in a calculated way. Once you’re in that stage of having a magic slot machine situation, you offer a very compelling reason for your prospects to join you in your business (as you will then share the mass amount of leads and the secret marketing niche with them).
Again, test, test, test… and you will find your niche. You will find your magic slot machine (or magic enrollment machine).
Another ezine solo ad class coming up
We’re going to do another ezine coaching call where I’ll take you step-by-step through setting up your own ezine advertisement.
Last time we did this with an ezine that isn’t listed on a directory. I did that so everyone could have access to it.
This time we’ll be doing an ezine ad from the directory of ezines that Charlie Page offers. It gives you access to hundreds of different ezines. This directory does cost money to get into, so if you want to sit this one out that is perfectly OK. I noticed that some of you have purchased this directory of ezines so I thought we should do some training in there.
Again, the last ezine class we did was with an ezine everyone has access to, on Top Surfer. If you haven’t heard the call we did it’s available to you at the blog. We have had some great results reported early from that ezine. On some people’s first try they actually profited on the ad through the sell of the ebook and generated leads. I heard several stories where the leads were actually calling them. This is great for a first try! Others promoted the free ebook and got quite a few prospects in their pipeline that way. These can turn into sales later as you enter them into auto responders that offer value over time.
Keep in mind that what you write in your ad will play a huge role in your results more than anything else. If what you did didn’t create great results, try something completely different. If your ad did well, try to tweak only one thing at a time (be very careful to do that) so you can see if you improved it or are going the wrong direction. This is a formula. That’s what makes it so fun.
If you already purchased the Charlie Page directory of ezines (or you get it this week) look for news coming up after the call with Ann Sieg this Thursday. Shortly after, we’ll do the coaching call with an ezine solo ad found in that directory provided from Charlie Page.
If you’d like to learn more about this ezine directory, you can find it in your back office.
Log in at www.therenegadesystem.com (you need the renegade system before you can do so)
Then go to Training and Resources.
Then to Traffic Generation.
Scroll down quite a ways on that page until you see a link called Ezine Advertising.
Click on Directory of Ezines.
Follow the links to purchase the Directory of Ezines.
I also encourage you to choose Charlie Page as one of your training partners in Internet Marketing. He offers a number of free resources anyone can learn from.
There are so many ways to win with this new model online. You don’t have to know them all. If you’re a beginner you want to experiment a bit so you know what methods you enjoy the most. Whether you start with the free methods, low cost methods or you can invest a more to speed up your learning curve, what it all comes down to is your willingness to take steps forward. The less you invest, generally the more time you spend. Start from where you can and then build up your prospecting machine from there. Have fun with it.
