Do You Have to Build a Web Site to Attract Prospects to You?
Monday, December 10, 2007 at 02:14PM I’ve gotten quite a few questions recently about whether or not it’s necessary to build a web site in order to attract prospects to you using the Renegade and "Magnetic Sponsoring" principles.
The answer is no; however, having a web site can significantly increase your marketing results (as will adding any effective marketing piece to your 'attraction' equation).
You have many options when it concerns marketing and attracting prospects to you. Many of these are shared at your Renegade back office, under Training and Resources. We also covered how to set up some of these other options, step by step, here in our training area (such as ezines, which has helped a lot of people here see early results right off the bat).
If you are brand new to attraction marketing your first step is simple. It should be to set up your system and start following what we taught at www.networkmarketingsolved.com in the training area to see attraction marketing work for you in reality. Soon, this will all be in video tutorial form at Renegade University, but dozens of people have jumped into success with no prior experience within days or weeks from the audio training area alone.
If you’ve already seen some early results... than one of your next possible steps might be to start creating your own marketing presence online. This can be a web site or a blog.
In our previous training we introduced you to one form of a web site called a blog. The platform we introduced to you, to create your own blog, was low cost (as low as $7 a month) and easy to use.
Although the blog can be turned into a web site, it is mainly used to create fast content that is easy to put up on the web (about as easy as sending an email once you have it set up). Some blogs are really simple (like mine), which is where you're at now. My blog is about as simple as it can get in terms of building a web site. I get hundreds of leads a month from this blog so it doesn’t matter that it’s not pretty.
Blogs can get more sophisticated. Here is one that Diyana Alcheva, one of our best students put together, from our trainings we did in October. www.networkmarketingsmart.com
And blogs can get more sophisticated than even that—they can actually start to look like any well-designed web site if you put the time into it.
We will continue teaching how to set up your own blog as soon as we launch Renegade University. (For the latest update on Renegade University, Click Here).
Ann Sieg recently sent some emails out about SBI (Site Build It), which is a very simple way to create a more complete web site presence. It's set up for people who know nothing about building a web site. It's quite impressive.
You don’t have to know how to design or do programming (not a bit). The tutorials at 'Site Build It' are great. I would suggest, however, that you be excited about the idea of creating your own web site if you choose Site Build It, because they give you so much training and support and make it so broad (so you can use your site to attract 'any' target market... not just network marketers) that you need to be excited about it all in order to really follow through. They've made it simple, but I think SBI is for someone who is truly excited about going all the way with their web site.
Our blog training is more primitive and good for those of you who are like me--you just want the basics.
I do recommend SBI (Site Build It) and encourage everyone to look closely at it. In addition to our blog training coming up, we may also do some introductory training on SBI as soon as the University is ready. More about having your own web site...
Having your own web site is a way to venture out into attracting other target markets (other than network marketers) while applying the same principles taught in the Renegade. For those in a nutritional company, for example, having a web site like you can build with SBI can be a great way to attract people to you who are interested in health and nutrition. SBI focuses its training on how to do this very thing.
If you want to get started with building your own web site with SBI (or you want to look more closely at it) go to your Renegade Back Office now.
When you first log in... you will land on the Quick Start Page. Look down at Step 1 (it's the first thing you see). Within Step 1, in the 2nd paragraph, it has a link to SBI. Click on that. A movie will play. Before the movie plays you will see some information about a contest they are having right now (no need to pay much attention to that)—just wait for the movie to start playing.
The greatest advantage that having a web site of your own can give you is it positions you on the net to attract prospects from search engines and other locations (like social networking sites). Getting people to land on your web site is easier than you might think (all for free). That is what we are going to teach heavily with the launch of Renegade University and Renegade Professional.
So do you NEED a web site of your own?
No--it's just going to improve your results. It also allows you to eventually attract other target markets if you choose. It gives you a better position to advance in your marketing.
Whatever you do, just be sure to keep taking action. There are only a few choices if you plan to succeed in a home based business…
1. Call up friends and family and invite them to meetings or other 'forms' of a presentation (I do not believe this is a smart business plan for most people)
2. Cold call people on the phone (been there, done that--yuck!)
3. Learn how to use the Internet to attract people to you (most realistic and practical and it's aligned with all other proven forms of marketing)
Your next steps?
If you just started, go to the training area and just begin.
Check out SBI (Site Build It) at the link in your Renegade System. Login now. Watch the video found at the link in Step 1 on the first page you land on after logging in.
Take action--learn, try things, move into the new age of marketing.
