Introducing 9 ways to generate MLM leads

Multi level marketing or MLM is all about generating leads. Success in this field of marketing is a numbers game. The industry average for MLM opportunities are 5%-7% conversion. This means that for every 100 people who are exposed to your product, 5-7 of them actually buy your product. Of course these numbers vary depending on the product, but you still need to get a large number of impressions in order to get more sales and become successful.

 

Here are 9 ways you can easily increase the number of leads for your for your MLM products:

 

1)      Build a website: Build an informative website that gives information about your products and their benefits. Make the site layout attractive and add pictures and testimonials and a video if possible. Make sure that the purchase information is accessible and prevalent on the website.

2)      Do SEO to make the site rank higher on Search Engines. On average, 80% of the traffic on websites comes from search engines.

3)      Do article marketing: Article marketing is a great way to promote your website and your product. There are a number of article directories online. Make a list of about 15 high ranked article directories and post articles on each. Try to post at least one article a week for the first 2 months on each of these directories.

4)      Blog: Create a blog or forums where you can discuss your product with people.

5)      Social marketing: Become a member of twitter, Facebook and MySpace and promote yourself there.(But also remember to follow the rules while promoting yourself in a natural non-aggressive way)

6)      Friends and family: Your friends and family are a great way to network and spread the word about yourself and your products.(Even though this is considered an old school style of network marketing it still can be effective if done correctly)

7)      Auto responders: Set up auto responders so that if leads email you, they get an immediate response from you with links to your site or newsletters.

8)      Keep in touch with your customers: Get in touch with customers who have bought products from you and keep offers them product updates and occasional discounts.(Remember its been proven statistically that 50 to 70 percent of customers who have brought for you in the past will buy from you again in the future)  

9)      Advertise: If you have a modest budget, you can spend money on online advertise in programs like pay per click programs and banner advertising.

 Remember, MLM is a numbers game and if you want to succeed in MLM, you have to generate a large number of leads by attracting prospects to your products. One of the best ways to do this is by setting up a social media marketing system and lead campaigns that will create an online presence for branding yourself and your business. And by doing a little bit at a time consistently on an on going basis you’re almost guaranteed to generate leads for your products and services.
