There are a number of different social networking sites or communities that you can tap into to build your network marketing business.

These communities are online social media marketing sites where distributors who are involved in or interested in network marketing gather to talk about the industry, get tips and strategies, and network.

The best strategy for tapping into these communities is to use some type of attraction marketing strategy.

Why should you use attraction marketing instead of leading with your product or business opportunity?

The power behind network marketing communities is the targeted nature of these websites. To maximize the effectiveness of your marketing, you want to tap into the topic of interest; not try to sell the topic of interest on another topic.

For example, a social networking site for network marketers attracts people who are interested in network marketing in general.

People who are interested in network marketing aren’t necessarily interested in a network marketing business opportunity.

Therefore, you want to tap into that level of interest by offering more information that is like the information being offered on the community website.

The attraction marketing business model is perfect for this as it allows you to offer information that network marketing distributors would be interested in.

So how do you use network marketing social networking sites to build your business? Here are a few tips to assist you…

Tip #1 – Contribute Value.

Don’t SPAM. Many people see the power of these types of communities and automatically use it as an opportunity to SPAM people on their business opportunity.

This is a mistake.

Instead contribute value to the community. This will increase your standing in the community and attract people to want to learn more about you. You make these contributions in many forms and then use content sharing sites to publish it for the Internet.

A signature is an approved method of marketing that you include whenever you contribute to the community. Typically at the bottom of each post you include a link to a website offering more information about something you want to promote. It is a waste to contribute to the community without including your signature link.

Tip #3 – Target keywords and phrases.

Most network marketing communities get indexed and picked up by the search engines. As the community continues to grow and expand there is a good chance that it could become an authority website by the search engines. This will give your post additional exposure to people outside the community who pick up your post on the search engines.

Tip #4 – Build relationships

Most communities have ways that you can contact and communicate with specific individuals within the community. It is an excellent idea for you to contact individuals in the community and build relationships with them. Who knows, that relationship may lead you to do business together at some point in the future. If timing is right, you might even find a future distributor in your organization.

Tip #5 – Post consistently and persistently.

While the type of information you post is important, almost equally important is how frequently you post. Posting frequently will allow others in the community to begin noticing you. This builds your personal brand, which increases the chances of attracting others to you. This is really attraction marketing at work for you.

Network marketing communities are excellent resources for attracting prospects to you if you know how to use them effectively. By following these tips, you will start off on the right track.
