Introduction To G-Mail

Gmail also known as Google Mail is a free emailing site, online. You may have heard of Yahoo  and Hot Mail. Well, G-Mail is a very similar email internet marketing tool. I'd like to list some of the many available services with G-Mail.

Obviousley, you can send email, attachments, pictures. You can set up groups of people, so you can email them all together. You can set up a calendar of your schedule and send it to others. This is great if you are part of a group, such as a network marketing group. You can all see each others schedules and know when someone is available.

Keeping documents is easy and convenient. I actually wrote this in google documents. Then, I copy and paste it into this blog. It's very simple. Want to save it? Just click on "save". As with all writing platforms, google documents have to ability to change fonts, size, bold, underline, etc. Lots of gadgets.

G-Mail has the ability to chat with other G-Mail users. If you are on G-Mail and you want to chat with someone in your contacts list, all you have to do is notice if they are available. You do this by seeing what color their "dot" is. Green is, yes, they are online. Yellow means they are no longer active. White means they are off line. So, now on to chatting. Their "dot" is greem, so you just hover your mouse over their name and you will have a pop up asking you if you would like to send an email or chat. Slide your mouse over and click on "chat". A small window will open where you can start typing. When you have your message written, hit enter and the other person will be able to see yout chat, right away. Nice and convenient.

Set up your contacts into groups. This makes finding them so easy. Then, you can email just that group. One message, written once and sent once. This way you don't have to scroll through all your contacts if you only want to send a message to your family, for instance. Just set up a family group and send one message to all of them.

There's a place to store pictures. A place to start a web site and of course a place to search the web using Google, who else? While you are there at G-Mail, take a peek at all the many things offered by using the "more" button located at the top of the page. This offers a ton more things like: YouTube, Images, Video's, Maps, News, Shopping, Books, Finance, Blogs, etc. Then, click on the "even more" button.

I think you'll be absolutely amazed at all the benefits offered through G-Mail. I need to go look more. There are things I haven't seen or used yet. Enjoy your new G-Mail account and send me a note sometime. moseley.michelle@gmail.com
