Discussion Area NEW > Blogging To The Bank 2.0

I just wanted to give people a little more info on the Blogging To The Bank 2.0 book, since many people seem interested.

I just purchased it on Monday night, and have finished reading it. It is for people that want to build a blog and really take it to the next level. The cost is $47 and here is what you get with it - I'll try to explain some of it for those that are new to internet terminology.

1. Blogging To The Bank 2.0 eBook

2. Blogging To The Bank Book (version 1.0)

3. Article Assistant program (this gives you a list of areas on the net where you can post articles that you write). This helps get you more people to your blog.

4. Blog Announcer program (this gives you a list of places to submit your blog, so that you can get more people to it)

5. Templates (it gives you a couple of free templates and some "starter" articles for certain industries (not network marketing), so I did not really find this very helpful).

6. Bonus Videos - the author provides a few bonus videos to walk you through using the programs described above, and through other ways to get people to your site. They are short, but very useful.

7. Black Hat techniques report. "Black Hat" is a term used to describe actions that a person may take online to "fool" Google into thinking the person's site is more important than it really is. These are things that can be done only short term, until the search engine finds out, then they will not work anymore. In short, it is kind of like "cheating the system". Fo what we are doing here with our group, I do not recommend any of these, since you want to build a solid foundation that will last and continue to bring in prospects, so I do not use these.

8. White Hat report - these are the same as above, only they are seen as "not cheating the system". So, most of the time Google will not get upset with these strategies.

9. Special Update Report - this includes any new ways to get traffic to your blog, that were developed "AFTER" the writing of the eBook.

10. A powerpoint presentation - this introduces the idea of blogs and gives a general overview of what they are all about.

So, for $47, I thought this was a pretty good package. I don't plan to use a lot of it, but if you look at the article assistant program by itself, that is easily worth $47.

The book does get a little "techy" at times, but just continue to push forward with it. After reading it, you should come out with at least a couple ideas of what to do next to increase your blog's traffic. I think you can get it through your Renegade Back Offfice, so look for it there, under "Traffic Generation" and then I think you scroll down and click on "Blogs", then the link should be on that page.

Hope this helps anyone that was still wondering about whether or not to get it.

Nice overview Chris. This is a perfect example of what it means to provide value. I'd like for everyone to take a close look at what Chris is doing. He just posted a very valuable article and he was only able to do that because he had taken a step to learn (he got the ebook). Then, he shared that experience and something of what he has learned. That's the secret! Chris could have also provided this as an article on a blog, submitted it to many 'free' places on the Intenret (which Blogging to the Bank and other such resources tell you how to do)--which would create traffic to his blog. Many visitors would then see Chris as someone who they might want to hang out with and know since he's so willing to share knowledge. So they may subscribe to his email list. If chris provides a link to the ebook he could then get ongoing affiliate commissions, which he can pocket or use for more advertising. All the while he is building relationships with many people systematically--people he can provide more service to going forward, and people he can righfully recieve income from over and over in time. At the same time, Chris is positioning himself to attract many high-quality prospects to his primary network marketing company because people will see he is someone they will benefit by joining.

How can this be duplicated:

Study and share. Study and share.

You're setting a great example Chris. Keep up the great work!

I'm reminded of climbing a hill when I was little... Each time I thought I was getting near the top, I'd spy another slope ahead! But I learned something - if I kept going up the slope ahead (not the one after that or the one behind), and kept going, ejjoying the views along the way, I got to the top where I was rewarded by great vistas, and a sense of achievement.

Thanks Chris for providing soem more pointers!

Hello everyone,
I am just in the process of researching the "how to" of starting a blog and hadn't heard of this resource. Thank you.

I'd like to add the book I just started last night that I confess has been in my library for several months.
BLOGWILD! A Guide for Small Business blogging by Andy Wibbels

Andy literally takes you by the hand and will show you step by step how to get your blog online. I've attending one of his teleclasses before and loved him! He's bright, witty and very savvy when it comes to Internet Marketing.

It's a short read, about 175 pages. Perfect for the the absolute beginner blogger.
